HOW: Every Client is unique-- their individual desires and the manner in which they want these satisfied are the challenges that I meet. My job is to customize and improve physical spaces in a way that aligns them with the Client's needs.

Some Clients arrive with very specific ideas; others with ineffable desires. We meet. Clients share. I listen and ask questions. Needs are explored and parameters set. We define a destination.

I integrate the information and desires communicated by the Client with my impressions and experience to synthesize an overall design concept. My goal is to create surroundings that are aesthetically beautiful, lifestyle appropriate, environmentally intelligent and tailored to the Client.

To illustrate the appearance of the completed project for the Client, I rely on a variety of tools: freehand sketches, pastels, watercolors, material boards and photographs, as well as images created in Photoshop CS-3, and elevations and perspective drawings generated with AutoCAD.

Clients involve themselves in the process in their own way. Some prefer active participation in every stage of the project; others prefer, in varying degrees to leave the legwork and decisions to me..

To accomplish our goal, I have a select group of individual contractors and trades that I rely on. They have proven their work ethics, attention to detail, knowledge of their trade and willingness to be team players. My aesthetic inspiration supported by their experience enables delivery of superior quality to my Clients.

A space is successful when it gives the Clients joy, is germane to their needs and reflects as well as supports their aspirations.
